Traveling beside child?
Answers: Since this is her first lay over, you might want to turn this into a "big girl" event. Give her a small back pack near coloring books, reading books, small snacks, a small squishy ball, and other little toys resembling that. I know that a lot of childish kids like playing mitt games, so if you know any of those, that'd be good. Also, kids close to walking around and looking at the airports. I know that some have musicians, and stuff close to that. Not to mention airplanes, she could always keep under surveillance those!

a layover at the airport? that's not so bad because she will savour the chance to find off the plane and run around. You can keep watch on the planes land and bear off. You can procure something to eat. You can buy some silly item in one of those silly shops. You can read to her. You can bring along a coloring book or some marker and paper. You can educate her some card games. Bring along a few of her favorite small toys and buy a new one or two of the sympathetic you know she likes basically to have something unmarked .
make sure you hold colors and things like that also fashion a game out of the atmosphere port count how many nouns plans go up or how heaps people near blue shirts walk by also you might want to relocate snake time in to for a time tea party by have a lunch able and receive the sandwiches on napkins and enjoy fun play eye spy and just savour your little girl
wow, that can be very unyielding...children get bored easiley...i'd utter pack some coloring books, reading books, play the I spy game, that'll receive them going for awhile, play the i spy a certain color team game, then try playing the abc spectator sport, start with finding the communication A then B consequently so on...that's good for her note skills....bring some wipes, that other keeps them colonized for awhile....also try bring a few of her favorite toys...one of those drawing things, they draw on it then erase it and can draw again.
I be so happy that we have our kids have their own carry-on lots. In those bags be crayons and colored pencils, coloring books, drawing pads. We also have our portable DVD player and laptop. We made sure we had 2 movies the kids loved and also have several new releases that they hadn't see. There were also games on the laptop, such as race and card games.
I also make a circuit of the airport next to the kids. Each airport is different in what you find in attendance. There's always a food court, but at hand are also spas, shopping, etc. 4 year olds love to take pictures so give somebody a lift along a disposable camera and tell her you are going to be paid an album of her travels. That camera is hers and make sure she know it. It could even become a tradition where she looks forward to the "layovers" so she could pocket more pictures. Have her take pictures of the household, people, places, planes. These pictures might be the solely ones where YOU are contained by them ;D
Keep in mind that the 3 hr layover may of late turn to 5-6 or even plane cancellation. It's better to plan for too much buzz for your kid than not enough.
Cards, coloring, a kids disc player, portable DVD player, you can look up games to play in sports car rides on google, pillows and blankets. you can bring their faorite toys, make a tent contained by the back out of blankets because idk but kids love tat, and any games that they close to.
kids that age are hard to travel beside. a dvd player is good but they don't finishing very long unless you own a couple extra batteries. bring a backpack of her favorite books & or coloring books. also those things from crayola(color wonder i think) that solitary work on the special paper are great. they enjoy fingerpaints and markers. and they merely work on the paper. and I don`t know some special dolls etc. good luck near that.
When I flew with my kids (3 and 5) I get them new marker, a certain description they had looked-for and some new color books. They own the color wonder stuff, or smelly markers, or flip top, adjectives kinds of stuff similar to that. But I put it in their backpack and they could not have it until we not here or the specified time. A new small doll toy or doesn`t matter what kind of toys she like, but a small one for packing.
And they always own snack shops in airports, they have Pizza Hut and my kids thought that was cool to enjoy Pizza Hut in an airport. Of course they charge you and arm and a leg within those shops too, but I was traveling alone next to 2 little kids and needed a way to preserve them occupied and feed of course, you can only pack so much when traveling alone.
I used to enjoy to do it my parents were divorced and i have to drive 3 HOURS every weekend to go to my dads house
I like it when my mom or dad played a game approaching "The Topic Game"
Some one makes up a topic close to "COlors" than you go around untill someone repeats a color or take too long

Some good concept for those long layovers is a portable dvd played if you don't have one find someone who does and borrow it...bring some of her favorite dvds...great for long time wait and then the extra books and coloring page maybe even one of those little portable games that are enigmatic so they wont spill...they have adjectives kinds ---chutes and ladder, tic tac toe,.....etc....
Here is a super cheap and easy point taht I have done next to my kids on long trips.
Buy a roll of aluminum foil - just attain the cheap stuff. She will entertain herself forever near it! Tell her it is all hers to craft as many cool things as she desires. The only rule is that you can't manufacture a mess by leaving the stuff on the ground. My kids made adjectives kinds of jewelry, hat, animals, shapes etc. They didn't get bored next to it for a really long time. I love this because you don't neeed tpe or scissors or anything - - and it is easy to verbs right up!
Bring a little duffel daypack with her favorite toys within it, or even some crayons and coloring books. You could also get her to guess peoples name and make a spectator sport of it. If she likes M&M's educate her how to count and her colors. (Need a big bag) Hope these help.
