Does anyone know how i can get my son in boy scouts?
Answer:
his school should have a pac, call the office and ask who is the parent in charge & their phone # or if you can leave them a message.
ask his school its the best way.
Check the BSA website.
go to www.scouting.org
contact ur sons school they should be able to help w/ the pack that is in ur area
This should take you right to the sign up page
Depending on his age, if he's 8-10, it may be the cub scouts and/or WEBELOS (intermediate packs between cub scouting and boy scouting) he needs to join. Check with the school, church, or civic place that the local troop meets at, or go to www.scouting.org for information. Also, if available, checking with the local scoutmaster and/or the scouting council office is always a good bet. However you get him in, though--get him in scouting. He'll be that much richer for it in life, and also learn new skills for life.
does your son want to be a boyscout? If yes, then contact a local chapter (phone book) and they will direct you to a den master in your area.
I would start with the scouting website and get contact info for your local organizations. I just got my 6-year old started in Cub Scouts this year and he has absolutely loved it. Our local BSA sent flyers home from school, so that's how we first got contacted about it (altough it was something I had wanted to get him into previously, so I had also done some searching on my own before that).
For joining cub scouts (grades 1-5) the best website is http://www.joincubscouting.org/... For Boy Scouts (ages 11-17) the site is http://www.thescoutzone.org/index.html. Good Luck!
