oh yes, very normal! i remember having those same temtations when I was your age. the first person i had a true crush on and thought i was head over heels in love with was when i was 12 and he was 16. he was in high school and everyone thought i was insane for dating a boy in high school. and even then i was attracted to men of all ages. it's the hormones, hun! and it only gets better from here on. those feelings will calm down a little. some feelings will go away or calm down and others will only get stronger. you are about to become the woman you will be for the rest of your life! this is such a roller coaster right now. your boyfriend is going through that same ride as you in his own way. it's wonderful that neither of you are alone and are able to tell each other such deep secrets about one another! yousound like the best of friends. so yes, you are normal. all of the girls who were in my little "click" in school went through this also. some more than others. have fun finding out who you are and don't let it bother you too much! Honestly I dont think a 12yr old who cant even spell correctly should be thinking about a boyfriend who is 4 years older, not to mention getting turned on by anyone, younger or older.
stay young for as long as possible. You should be out PLAYING with friends and paying attention in school. dont worry about boys or men, just worry about being a CHILD. Thats exactly what you are. That 16 yr old b/f of your should have charges brought up against him for even messing with someone your age.

Fantasizing about boys (and older men who might have the "daddy" factor <a girl's first crush usually is someone who reminds her of her daddy, or, if younger, maybe her daddy--which is an innocent, usually cute type crush along the lines of boys to their mommies> about them) is normal at your age. Having a boyfriend is a tad unusual, but not totally unheard of at age 12. Having sex at age 12, however, despite how good it might feel, is both dangerous and against the law. If you are going to have a boyfriend, though, stay with the 16 y/o, or find someone closer to your age, if you want. In short--nothing physically wrong, or mentally either, with you. Also, don't worry about the spelling, just work hard on your schooling, and try your best. Dyslexsia or not, that is all anyone can ask of anyone, is to try! Good luck!
