Any ideas for an "Army" birthday party?
Answer:
Instead of "Happy Birthday" we did a "cadence"
"I don't know, but I't's been said (repeat) Someone's face is getting red (repeat), I don't know but I've been told (repeat) Someone here is gettin old (repeat) Sound off (Happy) Sound off (Birthday), Sound off (Happy Birthday!). "
For obstacle, Set up a low balance beam too (concrete blocks and a 2x4 will work), also, they can run through pool inner tubes if you don't have tires.
We had kids come in camoflage and painted their faces.
I put "party food" in square boxes that I spray painted army green and marked "rations" with a permanant marker.
This was a really fun party for us when my son was 6.
Don't stress too much, remember the kids will provide their own entertainment! Relax and have fun--boys are great!
maybe have them crawl under something low, like a table or chair. how about climbing up a small step ladder or stool? have them do jumping jacks and a few lil push ups too. some summersalts? cartwheels? that's what i did for my lil bro.
boxes and hoops maybe some tires too ... sorry i hoped i helped you!
