What kind of parties / crafts should I do for my son's party?

My son's 5th birthday is coming up and I need some party game / craft ideas. The theme is spiderman and we are having it at the planetarium. The planetarium puts on a custom show, but it only last for about 20 minutes so I have to figure out what to do for these kids for about an hour. Any ideas? If it's a craft, noting expensive please. I am planning for about 10 - 15 guest.

Answer:
The planetarium in itself should keep them busy...but if not have a back up game planned. Little kids love freeze tag or duck duck goose at that age. Little boys love playing spider man. Maybe make a little gift bag, go to the dollar store and get pencils or they always have a little toy in there and spider man is pretty common.

if you were set on a craft go to the craft section of walmart get styrophome balls (about one inch) and a can of blk spray paint. When you get home pre paint all the balls (be carefull not to hold it too close)
Also buy a little package of eyes (that stick on) and the fuzzy twisty wires in blk or red or what ever color you want maybe mix them up so they can be more individual.

The whole cost for that many kids would be cheap, support your theme, and they would love it. It doesnt require any glue or extra mess its simple!
Good luck!
At five your old, your son and friends attention span is quite short. So I would plan multiple things to keep them occupied. I can only suggest using anything to do with your theme. Grab a costume or two, board games, Mabe the planetarium will allow you to view photographs on the ceiling for them to enjoy.
the planetarium sould be enough in its self, let them wonder and look.
play mother may i, its simple and fast and as each child gets to you reward them with a prize like candy. its a win win situation
you can decorate cupcakes to look like spiders. Just provide frosting, black licorice strips and black gumdrops. Have quick contest for cutest spider-most realistic spider etc. Then eat them! Quick craft and snack in one. have fun!
