Birds and the bees?
Answers: He'll have to know soon, unless you want him to swot from what his friends tell him.
I know, I know... he's still basically your baby, too childlike to know, but in this light of day and age of heighthened sexuality, he needs to know. He'll eventually see porn on the internet at a friends house, and you don't want him thinking that this is what sex is adjectives about, right?
You'll own to teach him the correct principles of sex. He requirements to know that sex, when practiced between two people who love respectively other and are committed to each other (i.e. MARRIED!) later sex is a beautiful work of love, not the degenerate form of lust that the world portrays it contained by movies, magazine, and music. He'll need to know the why's and the how's.
My wife and I realize that we needed to tell our daughter beforehand she started 2nd grade. We'll possible do the same next to our son around the same time.
Good luck!
i cogitate you should tell him straight up. why tale?
my parents told me that when a mommy and daddy want a baby they ask god for one and he puts it within the mommies belly untill its ready to come out lol i guess i fell for it lol
You'd better start discussion straight about sex, or your boy is going to shift to other sources for his information--sources which could be wrong, or worse, self-serving.
By telling your kid around sex plainly and truthfully, you will earn his trust and be able to exceed along your ideas, attitudes and morals roughly speaking the matter to him. That anyone would be ready to let strangers influence their child's thinking on such high-status matters make no sense to me.
I recommend some of the popular childrens literature that you can find at any book store. When the time came for me to sermon with my son, I purchased the book "Where Do Babies Come From". I believe in attendance are several books available that are sorted by age group and gender.
at seven you can impart them a basic answer similar to ' me and you father loved eachother very much and consequently we had you.' if he still keep asking then he's matured enough to knwo. here are some great books out there that can abet you discuss this with your child. however if you avoid giving them an answer they'll here some crackpot explanation from a kid at university that will confuse them or they may start tp surface embaressed about the total subject. neither is healthy!
With my own children it is "if they are outmoded enough to ask afterwards they are old ample to know. The thing is to maintain your answers short and to the point without over informing. Most kids are rewarded with, When two ethnic group love each other close to your daddy and I do they come together and make a unmarked person within her belly.
I think you should convey him the truth, but not go into great detail roughly it. And if he asks for more say something resembling "Ask me when you're older."
Good luck. :]
TELL HIM THE TRUTH. TRUST ME DO YOU WANT HIM TO FIND OUT SILLY LIES FROM HIS FRIENDS OR GET DETAILS FROM HIS FRIENDS. BETTER HE HEAR IT FROM YOU THEN FROM THEM.
Children want answers to question. They want the truth or they would never have asked. You dont have need of to go into symbolic detail, but give them a soft spot of the real answer. It will prob. gross him out and describe you to quit talking.
You can start out simple by motto that when mommies and daddys love each other sometimes a babe-in-arms is made. Spare the details for later.
If you really don't want to communicate him yourself just get hold of a book about this sort of entry - there are lots of 'birds and bees' books for kiddies. You can read it together and if he have any questions you should answer them for him.
My mum told my brother and I when we be four and six and I think it be better to get the information from her than a instructor or friends.
I suggest you go put a bet on to school and cram to spell as well as swot about sex since you don't know how your son get there.
My son is eight and he's asked duplicate thing and i told him that God made him...me, his dad, and the lord...i told him that when two empire love each other and ask the lord for a child he help them by putting the baby within my tummy.only if the two folks really love each other and he know there gonna nick good fastidiousness of him, so he goes and picks out the little one he knew he would make a contribution them some day and puts them within my tummy for nine months so we can be suprised and excited when he comes...worked for me, hasn't asked anything about it since....freshly depends on what you want to tell him...
JUust explain it to him as a rule. If he wants to know later theres no reason for you not to enlighten him. You'd be surprised by how much a kid his age soed understand. SO hes bound to be curious. Just put in the picture him in a normall approach. If you try to make it to much approaching a way that you believe he'd undestand it, it might become to complicated for him. SO save it a simple and normal as posible. Good luck
Well, you made the first foremost mistake by telling him he come from a stork. If he did, he has no explanation to think you and your husband/boyfriend are his parents, thus you own no relationship to him. Non the less, he doesn't involve to listen to what you say or do the things you give an account him to do. Or even live under like house as you. Shouldn't he be living in the storks nest consequently?
I'm not going to point out your other mistakes, but I wouldn't tell him the Man have a penis girls have a vagina and the entire sex entity. Just say "When a man and a woman love respectively other very much, they ask God for a child, and the woman forms a child within her womb, a little pouch surrounded by her belly that keeps the toddler until he's ready to come surrounded by this world. Because the Woman has a babe-in-arms in her tummy, it get big, then the babe comes to the world! Just like you did! I be so happy to see your smiling facade whenever I held you!" I understood that when I be 7, and I think it shows love between other empire!
Sorry, but he needs to know pretty much everything. Explain everything according to the values/morals of the creed in your home, and explain clearly and simply. Be unfurl to questions, and repeat every once within a while to make sure he understand. Better he comes to you than believes the myths from his friends.
