This question is from my 8 years old daughter. Why is winnie the pooh don't wear pants? Is WTP a boy or a girl?

she is just curious since she was 4 years old watching the winnie the pooh.

Answer:
he's a boy, but bears don't wear pants, and we shouldnt look for his wee wee, tis private.
He is a boy from my knowledge, and I heard he is afraid of pants.
he is a boy
I guess he is secure w/ his manhood,or lack there of..haha!I really don't know, never really thought about it?!
hes a boy & he doesnt wear pants because a bear does s**t in the woods
i know. its baffled me for the longest time. he is a boy, nut sorry i wish i knew why he doesn't have any pants on.

a guess would be because he is a bear in the wild he can take a crap anywhere.bears cant undo their undies or pants so why put any on when hes gonna soil them anyway.
Winnie is a female name, however Winnie-the-Pooh was referred to as "he". He doesn't wear pants because...ummmmmm...most bears don't?
hes a boy and he doesnt wear pant, i think, because cartoons or animals dont have to. thats why so many other characters dont wear any like curious george, donald duck...
well tigger is naked
in your imagination, anything goes. WTP is a fantasy show and he is just a fantasy teddy bear. He is a generic term like mankind is. No pants because it is a teddy bear and a fantasy. He lives in Cristopher Robin's boyhood.
Most teddy bears don't wear clothes. Even a shirt is a lot of clothes for a teddy bear.
Winnie the Pooh isn't real. The conventions that apply to real people don't apply to make-believe creatures, like clothes and gender. You really have a problem explaining this to an 8 year old?
just tell her it is because he is a bear and bears do not wear pants. wtp is a boy.
