Usually they will tell you this when you sign your child up for kindergarten. However, mine needed to know her full name and how to write it, numbers 1-10 spoken and written, abc's spoken and written, shapes, colors and fon number and address. I was surprised that this was all because it doesn't seem like alot, but I was certainly surprised when at her first meeting in november the teacher told me of how many children actually didn' tknow their address and fon number and shapes
My daughter is in Kindergarten this year. SHe needed to know how to spell her name, the abcs, numbers to 10, tie shoes, zip zippers, snaps, buckles, etc.
The school should be able to get you a list of the things they will need to know.
