he has to be at least 5 kd when he starts but some preschools will alow 4yrs
i started school when i was 4- Pre-k.if his b-day is after Sep.1 then u can start him in pre-k next year, if it is BEFORE sep 1 then u can get him in Kinder next year. Right now you can always start him in a daycare, which i would recommend. Wait till the new yr starts before sending him 2 school
Not sure where you live but here in Ontario, Canada as long as you turn 4 in the year of when school starts you can enroll.
My daughter turned 4 in March and started Kindergarten in September. She also had children in her class that were only turning 4 in Nov or Dec and they had to start too.
Parents don't really like how it works but that's how they do it.
Most areas are 5 years by Sept 1, but check with your school district to be sure. They can also tell you what he needs to know and do a kindergarten screen with him. Work on his ABCs, numbers, colors, etc. They'll be able to tell you more.
i thought he was ment to start prep if your birthday was on or before june 30 just ring up a local school and find out i dont think its to late with anything when it comes to kids.
Your son would probably benefit from being in a structured daycare or pre-school. Check with your school district, they may have pre-school. Other options are daycare that is run like a school to learn some basics. Often times churches run daycares for younger children. Be careful sending him to school at the same time as the baby is born because your 4 year old may want to stay your baby and have a hard time adjusting to "school". He's not too young to do pre-school and be in a structured environment. Good luck!
Put him in kindergaten find a suitable one near your home. My son went to kinder 3 going on 4 April baby and started school last year turned 5 in April 2006 school started in February. He went to kinder 2-3 days a week. Now 5yrs old and in Grade 1 turning 6 in April this is in Australia. Youngest one in school.
home school him he'll enjoy it because he will know he is with his mother and the little baby in you tummy**
