Science problems?

I need as much help as i can get?
I need help, my friend has a science prodject due tomorrow and we just found out yesterday and I don't know how to help her. she is in 5th grade. The prodject cannot be older than the grade that she is in. What could we do? Her mother doesn't know what to do either. I am just a friend of the family. If you know a prodject please give as much details as you possibly can also leave references if possible. I haven't done a science prodject since i was in high school and her mother has not done one since middle school and between the both of us it has been 25 years since one has been done.

Answer:
The solar system is great you need a coat hanger and diffrent size foam balls, paint and something to make rings on the plants.
you posted this 3 times, and you are on the wrong board. and what do you mean the project cant be older than the grade she is in? does that mean that it must be at a "5th grade" level or lower? that would be so sad. ah, public schools. this kid should have thought about it long before, if it is due tomorrow. sounds like that should be a big F.
Get a good size bottle that an egg will almost fit in.
Get a piece of paper, fold it,light it,and drop it in the bottle
Set the egg on top of the bottle really quick.

Your result: The egg drops into the bottle after a few seconds that the paper has been lit and dropped into the bottle.

God Bless and Good Luck ♥

I personally would complain if my child only had one night to do a science project. That's just not possible to do a good project with that little notice.

The easiest and fasted thing I can think of is to take 2 plastic soda bottles and fill one with water about 1/2 or 3/4 of the way. Tape them together one on top of the other (mouth to mouth) securely. When you shake them and turn it upside down, it makes a tornado out of water.

Here's a link: http://www.yesmag.bc.ca/projects/tornado...
Super easy last minute science project is the Dancing Raisin. I got this off the PBS kids ZOOM website and it says it is a 5th grade project.

All you need is a clear cup (one that you can see through), clear carbonated soda like sprite, 7-up or even soda water.

Dancing Raisins
Here's another quick and easy science experiment. All you need is a glass of clear soda, such as ginger ale or club soda, and several small raisins.

(1) Fill a glass with soda. Leave about 1/2 inch (12.5 mm) of space at the top.
(2) Drop the raisins in.

The carbon dioxide will attach to the raisins and make them rise, but when they get to the surface and the carbon dioxide releases into the air the raisin will drop back down. This process will repeat over and over making the raisins look like they are dancing!

Then all she has to do is a little research online about the properties of CO2 and why it acts the way it does and she's all set! Good Luck!
