What chores does your twelve year old do?

My brother is twelve and he takes out the trash everyday,wash dishes everyday clean out the tub when he gets through with it he also makes up his bed before he leaves for school, and sweeps the kitchen floor
well when i was 12 i did dishes and laundry and dusted
Well i'm 14 n i have PLENTY of chores..i have to have my room clean before i go to bed, put the dishes away in dishwasher when i get home from school, every thursday i have to iron, clean pets cages, vaccumm, and every other week i have to do all the laundry. It doesnt seem like much i kno, but it does get annoying n drives me nuts because i cant go NO WHERE until there all done. So i wouldnt give your 12 yr old much, unless its a punishment.
THE DISHES, SWEEP THE KITCHEN FLOOR, MOW THE LAWN PUSH, NOT RIDING.
wash dishes, clean his room, clean the bathroom once a week, etc. if your 12 yr old is responsible -he or she should be able to do most any chore that is not dangerous- no cutting down trees or reroofing the house-
I have an almost 12 yr old. I have recently provided a list of chores for her. After dinner she washes and puts away any dishes that were left to dry. She vacuum's the floor and empties the trash from bathroom and bedrooms waste baskets. on weekends usually Saturday morning she water's plants and cleans her room. This is all done after she has completed her home work during the week. These chores are not hard and not time consuming but great start for a child to learn responsibilities.

My 12 yr old does dishes, garbage duty, and helps with folding and putting away laundry. He also cuts grass (every once in a while,,,more as a punishment..ha ha) The other chores he does daily, I just break it up so its not such a 'chore'...smiles
