What would be a great gift for my 13 year old daughters birthday?

Answer:
Her first real gold ring or locket, something she'll remember forever. Maybe an inherited pair of earings or her first, small pair of diamond earings. It's a great chance to give her something to learn responsibility but not something that costs a fortune. Teach her a lesson without her realizing it! That's the age my sister and I got our first real peice of small jewelry, simple gold rings that we still have and cherish to this day!
CELLPHONE!!!

ask her what she would want if she could have anything that does not cost a whole lot.
A MONKEY! NO JUST JOKING MAYBEY A GIFTCARD AT HER FAVE STORE!
Anything that won't contribute to the sexuality and superficiality of the young.
a purse, clothes,earrings,necklaces, bracelet's
I am going to turn 13 turn soon, so you sould get here a new cell phone,i pod ,mp3 player,labtop/computer,flatscr... tv, or some new cd's. i think she might want one of these. hope this helps! : )
If she doesn't have a cell phone, that would be a good gift. Also, gift cards to her favorite store in the mall is nice as well. Maybe if you made up your own kind of gift certificate. For example, if you gave her a certificate that said "One ride to and from wherever you need to go, with no refusals". This will let your young person know that you are willing to give more than your money to them.
We;;, if shes in to music an ipod or mp3 player. If she wantes to play music a guitar. Maybe a cellphone if she wants. Just ask her what she really wants and if you cant get it of its too expencive ask her for another thing she wants. Or get the closest thing to it! Good Luck!
How about a subscription to a magazine? Not just a hair and makeup mag. but if she likes science or cooking or graphic design or computers... a magazine that will educate her and peak her curiosity and interests with every issue.
Does she have an Ipod or cellphone you could get a card for?
Maybe an Ipod or a cellphone if she doesn't have one.

A mall gift certificate, then take her shopping. Spending an afternoon goofing off at the mall is an excellent opportunity for some quality time together. Let her pick where to go for lunch.
take her shopping!
definetely cell phone - they have ones now that can "track" your child as well - so you know where she is at all times and she can have her phone to play games/talk. Good for everyone.

On another note - if I had that in high school I would have never survived. ;)
well when i was thirteen i liked stuff like shoes, clothing, makeup, purses most girly stuff or just throw her an awesome party!
It's really hard to tell now with kids growing up so fast. When I go shopping for my teenage girl relatives, I usually go for small, cute make up at Claire's or Icing by Claire's. For example, cute lip glosses, eye shadows, stuff like that. Clothes are always good too as long as it's their sense of style, of course. Purses have always been a good choice for me, as well. Also, with all the hype about them, an iPod would probably suffice. Whatever you get her, I'm sure she'll be grateful for.
Buy her the first book of Inuyasha.
Everyone needs to have a little anime in their lives.
GIFTCARD!!
NO CELL PHONE OR MP3
something from the HEART with love.
Dont buy her an ipod or a cellphone becuase those are superficial.give her someting shell spprecitate and love for years. Build a bear workshop has giftcards you can buy so people can go in the store buy a bear.customize it liek the stuffing and stuff.you dress it how you want and she will keep it stored for many years.Even if she not into playing with dolls or stuff like that something as fun as this will really mean a lot to her and it cheaper.go here to learn more http://www.buildabear.com/
It depends on what she likes if she is into sports get her something athletic if she punk get her some cds if she is girly take her to the salon. If she doesnt fit into these catagories u can never go wrong with quality time.
