At the age of 47 what is the best way to keep your eyes healthy and bright?

Well, what i do is

At the computer/tv/square box projecting images, really take a break after every 45 mins - 1 hour, to just stare at something far away, preferly something natural and rest your eyes for about 3-5 mins.

Do not rub your eyes if they itch, wash it with water. Or keep blinking.

And like the advice above, eat orangey stuff (Carrot, orange, tomatoes)

And one more, somehow, don't know if this is sciencetifically proven, but exercising works for me very well. It somehow keeps my eyes fresh and more alert. Maybe its just in the brain , but just thought i let you know =D
