Dreams are just that... dreams. I don't think your child has any hidden sexual agendas with you in mind. Given his age, he may be experiencing increasing hormone levels and find himself at a different stage of puberty that accounts for sexual curiosity etc.
Many children begin to have what many call "wet" dreams, but this does not make them perverts.
Your child may associate your love and nuturing with an intimate relationship in his dream. I wouldn't be alarmed by it.
By the way, how old is he and what does he "truly" know about sex? The mind will not project sexual images in dreams unless they were somehow experienced or seen in the waking hours.
For instance, my mother had a dream of a man who had his private part sticking straight out of his pants and it had a human mouth on it, with teeth and everything. It was just talking away to her in the dream! Now can I say that she desires to have a conversation with one or hopes to one day understand why men sometimes think with it and not with their heads? Come now!
She has clearly seen a few "private" parts in her life and hundreds if not thousands of mouths on humans. Why they were put together in such a shocking way in her dream is beyond me, but it is safe to say that you normally dream what you know, have seen, or have experienced.
If you child has seen sexual relations on television (some can get rather passionate and heated), then it is possible that he may have associated this in his dream with the woman he is most intimate with emotionally... you.
Do not take offense to this if he is a young child and still developing. I would worry if the dream become recurring or if he starts to act out in strange ways during the waking hours.
Best to you!
