both of us are using glasses since our schools times...i hv heard sight problem is hereditary and even doctors doubt it..i dont know what to do...i m worried..i just didnt want my son to wear glasses

Answer:
Are you willing to risk your son's health so you don't have to deal with the inconvenience of a young child wearing glasses? If so, I would question your ability as a parent.

Have your son's eyes examined by a professional optometrist. Doctors don't "doubt," they "know" when it comes to vision problems. A doctor can easily determine if your son really has a vision problem and needs glasses. Then, a licensed optician can help you and your son choose the most appropriate pair of glasses to fit his needs AND offer advice on how to properly care for glasses. If your son DOES have a vision problem, his school work WILL suffer. Take care of your son.
If both of you wear glasses, you son will need to as well at some point. What's wrong with him wearing glasses?
U must have to consult the doctor immediate
Please take your son for an eye test at the earlist. Do not delay like I did, when my son was 8 yrs and the opthamologist had already diagnosed him with a weak sight. Now he is nine years of age, wherby the number has increased and he is wearing glasses. Just advising you as a concerned mother.
my daughter had 2 wear glasses for 2 years, and now she doesn't need them.have your son eyes checked it may be temporary if he wears them when he is suppost to.
Just get your kid checked. It will be worse if he doesn't get it checked and has a problem with his vision and doesn't have it corrected.

And besides, what's wrong with glasses? I've worn them since I was 6 years old. They have cute frames for kids nowadays. Wearing glasses is no big deal. Better that than not being able to see.
