How can I get my children to leave the toilet seat up after he uses it ?

i have six boys and they all drips on everything

Answer:
I don't understand. Why would you want them to leave the seat up?
repeatedly telling them or make a chart.
Make them clean it!
most people want guys to leave the seat down when they are done i think ur lucky but try taking the seat off if u have another bathroom u could use
You never will - it is a boy/man thing. They do it on purpose, I am sure - because they are attention seeking. They never grow out of it. Not in my experience anyway. I could SCREAM!
I wouldn't have believed this if it hadn't happened to my nephews, but I have 3 nephews, (triplets actually) who had something wrong with their "tracking system" in their penis. They actually had to have an operation when they were 3 or 4 years old.

I know that is unlikely, but it could be a possibility. The answer you will hear most often is that you should have them help clean up. Since there are 6 boys you are going to hear, "That wasn't me" so give them each a day of the week to clean the bathroom. They will tell each other what to do when they are done!
OMG....After hearing all the crap about moms punishing their kids for leaving the seat up.wow...the times they are a changin'

Other than the obvious star/candy/sticker positive reinforcement charts etc..., perhaps teachin them how to wipe the seat would be in order, especially since you have six boys who are capable of peeing by themselves.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to remember that toilet seats are meanto be left down...along with the lids after a use.How soon many moms (especially those who punish their sons for leaving the seats up) forget.
Make them clean the toilet area until they all start doing it like you want them to. That should do it.
Make a sign and post on back of toilet.
