Can a six week old get the stomach flu?

My son is 6 weeks old and has been exposed to a child who has a bad case of the stomach flu he has not shown any sighns of getting it and it but i am soo scared for him has any one child gotten the stomach flu this young? and if soo what happen!

Yes..he would probably have diarrhea and a temperature-he may not want to eat. Call the doctor right away with any signs of any illness in a child this young. They are easily dehydrated which leads to complications. If he is showing no signs, however, stop worrying. if you start at this young age trying to keep him away from every possible germ then worrying sick about it you will both be crazy! Relax and enjoy your baby! They really do grow up too fast.
I would check with his docter
at the first and i mean first sigh call the doctor. Babies under 3 months should not have a fever or any "bug" like that. Don't worrry just call the doctor there is no such thing as an over protective new born mom.
