I would say you really need to sit down with your daughter again & have "The Talk" and not look for such answers here on the internet for her. If she doesn't beleive you then maybe you can have a close relitive talk with her about this; someone that she WILL trust like an Aunt or a cousin.

You do realize that your local library has books pertaining to these kind of subjects, on how to explain the facts of life to your OWN CHILDREN instead of leaving it up to complete strangers..
Tell her to do it in private and not talk about it to her friends. It is a private way to please yourself and don't make it dirty and something she will get punished for if she does it.

First of all how old is your daughter? If she's younger the 16 she don't need to know what masturbating is. and if she doesn't believe you she'll find out when she's ready, she probably isn't ready to understand.
