There is no age. I was sexually active before i met my husband, and everyday i wish i hadn't been. I wish i could have shared that with him and him only. keep that in mind. also keep in mind, i am not an old woman i am actually still quite young just grew up fast...too fast, part of that happened because i didn't wait.
There is no official age for being sexually active. I don't know if that was a joke question or what, but no, there is no age. & I find it completely gross when kids are pregnant that young.
Well, legally speaking there is no "official" age. The rules are complicated. I think most people think it's acceptable to start having s e x at about 17yrs old.
The age of consent is 18...14 is too young and 15 as well, many teenagers start having sex at 16-17.
18 is official age. If anyone under that age has sex with someone older than that is considered a statutory rape... if both are under 18, it's not a biggie... unless your parents find out... when I see girls pregnant even at the age of 18 and especially younger than that I feel bad, because they have all lives ahead of them and having a baby will get in the way of their lives.

18 is the legal age for most states. Kids getting pregnant at that age are looking for attention. It has nothing to do with the baby and all about themselves. The attention they get good or bad. These kids need serious counselling. (Some are true accidents or they are victims of a crime.) But in this day and age all the info, it is a cope out to say " I didn't know I could get pregnant "

I'll skip the first part, as there is no real answer for it in the way it is worded.
I will state that I feel incredibly repulsed and bothered when I see a young girl pregnant. It bothers me more when I encounter one who is pregnant, and too stupid to quit smoking.
In this day and age, when there is such concern for disease, how is it that so many young people are out there having promiscuous sex, and not being concerned for the consequences of their actions.
Worst of all, is when the parents of these young girls continue to support them after they have gotten into this situation.
Now, I don't mean support as in give them a home, or fodd and shelter, that is to be expected, I mean support in that they allow them to continue through life without having to face the previously mentioned consequeces of what they have done by giving full financial support to them, and allowing them to continue to have their "lives" once the child is born.
I realize that this is a hot topic, and that my opionion on it is likely not welcome, as it comes across a bit heavy handed, but it is how I feel when I see these things happening.

There is no official age. I started when I was 13. I wish I started earlier,like 11. I regret all that time I missed out. If a girl is 16 or younger, and pregnant, then she should get an abortion because she is too young to have a baby; she would ruin her life and her baby's life.

I believe it has to do with the child parent relationship.I feel pity when I see babies having babies.I believe if the parents are a strong influence in a childs life they will wait to have sex until the have properly matured.
You must have a lot to learn. No official age. And 14-16 year olds who are pregnant will not be looked at anything more than irresponsible little girls that don't know how to close their legs.
Again, there is no official age for being sexually active in america. If you mean when is it legal to be sexually active, then it would be 18. If an adult has sex with someone undeer the age of 18, it is against the law.

first of all i was one of those mothers and look at me now im married for the past 21 years i meet my hubby when i was 12 married at 18 5 beautiful kids never asked nobody for nothing! and i wouldnt trade it for the world! its narrow minded people who dont think young people make mistakes , but the key to life is learning from them!
