We actually had to have snow to be closed! So I would (if you are not a working mom) go with the flow and spend some quality time with your 7 year old. =o)

Yes we have had a letter today confirming of the closure.It will be interesting if it doesnt snow at all.Do we still keep the kids off i wonder.

Kids have it easy these days! when i went to school, even if it was heavy snow, if it was walking distance we still had to go in!
I have noticed though that even though we have already had a bit of snow all local schools are still up and running!
damn...y couldn't my school have been like that!! i only ever had one school day. the school phone lines were down as well so every local radio station was saying my school was shut, but nearly every1 got to school, only to be turned away again!! a walk taht usually took 20mins took over an hour that day...i pitty the ones who lived further away!
They seem pretty sure about this snow, so the forecasters will look a bit silly if it doesn't come!
I don't have kids yet, but I'm hoping my hubby will have to stay home from work tomorrow!!
