Where to get help getting christmas for my children in springfield tn?
my foance son to be husband is not able to work or drive any more due to the fact that he has had cancer but has been in remisson for a few year.no insurance company in tn will touch him. and his doctors have told him he could not go back to work and that he can not drive any more. the only thing that is paying the bills is my ssi check and child support. we are getting food stamps that is helping us get grocies.
so we are not going to be able to get christmas for our children.

Time to sit the kids down and explain things.
Christmas isn't about how many "things" you can buy for them. Explain what the season means to you. Talk about being together as a family. Talk about having dreams and getting an education. Christmas is what you make it.
i will pray for you but since you are getting food stamps go down to social service and they should have a list of churches that you can contact or just call them up it will all work out.
Churches! Each Sunday school class in my Church sponsors several family's. In your local news paper you can find a list of churches. I am not beneath the dollar store ether ~ my kids get a lot of thing from there. There is nothing that says Christmas has to be extravagant, my kids like the dollar items just as much as anything else. Have a Mary Christmas.
