4 years old?

I have teach her numbers up to 100 and she forgets 20 now remember and eventually forgets all the tens but remember when I say it thirty and thirty one she goes on and then forgets the forty and when i say it she remembers and say forty one forty two bla bla it happens to all the tens. What her problem? Is it ok?

Answer:
She is four! Let her be four! Just keep practicing.practice makes perfect.
Yeah... she's fine... let her be 4.
She's 4 years old, give her a bit of a break. If she can get through most of it and only forgetting some numbers, I think she's doing great. With age comes better memory.
There is no problem! 4 year olds should be able to remember most of everything up to 20, anything more than that is just hit or miss!
She's 4. Just keep practicing. She will get it soon enough.
She is fine. A lot of little ones struggle with the "tens". The irregularities of some of them make them harder. When you stimulate her, she remembers which is important. Forty, sixty, seventy and eighty are usually easier than 20, 30 and 90. She'll get it though, maybe try teaching her to count by 5s and 10s in memorizing, with the numbers on cards so that she sees it. You can also place macaroni on the table and let her play, counting pieces and such so she understands grouping.
shes just four years old they like to play
She's only 4 years old . Let her be a child as there is plenty of time for pressured learning. Sounds like she is smart as she can already count so well (even if she does forget the multiples of 10). Just play with your child instead of trying to teach her something she is not up to learning yet.
It's too soon to be pushing counting up to 100. My child in 1st grade is just doing that at age 6! Focus on the alphabet first but the don't really start writing well until Kindergarten (age 5). Don't stress your child with academics right now. They learn through play, not through rote memorization. Is she in preschool? Socialization is more important at this age.
shes 4 i have a 4 year old daughter two. there attetion span is verry fast paste. and she dont nead to know how to count to 100 yet. up to 20 is fine. she will learn them all when she gets into school. she might be trying to tell you in her own way that she does not want to count at that time.
Its not that she has a problem Miss...
she's learning,I'm sure you didn't learn 123's and ABC's over night!...just keep teaching her,she'll get it,parenting means Patience.
Good Luck
She's fine. My 5 year old was doing this, and all of a sudden she can count to 130. Things just click differently at different times.
she is 4. If she can count to 10 you should be happy
I've seen that in every four year old! Does she say 20-10 instead of skipping to thirty? Totally normal! She'll get the hang of it soon!
Most 4 year old can't count to 100 so she's advanced. My 3 year old gets up to 20 but he's decided eleventeen is a number. : ) I applaud you for working so hard with her but don't come down on her. she's ahead of the game and she will be more consistent the more you practice especially if you make it fun for her.
yeah its ok for her its probly like memorizing 100 names but when she gets a clue she will know it just keep on going over it an try not to get fustraited then she will feel bad that she dose not know it.
