It's difficult to avoid it altogether. Monitoring the useage of the internet while your kids are on, is the best prevention.
you should also try installing adaware or some other virus catching software and run it. you could have a virus or bug thats causing the porno to pop up
How about doing your job as a parent and supervise your child's online activities.
Funny thing, when the internet first started showing up in homes there were no "parental security devices" if we didn't want our children accessing certain sites we would password the internet connection and when our kids were online we would PAY ATTENTION to what they did online. Also there were no computers in kid's bedrooms where they didn't belong.
The problem with the pop up is that someone has obviously allowed the device to be installed on the computer and the only way to keep it from popping up is to search your entire computer for the "problem" and then uninstalling it. Mind you porn sites have a way of distributing their devices throughout the computer (like a worm) and it can take a very long time to find all of the programing and get rid of it. Better to take your computer in and have all the files "cleaned" and then don't allow anything to be installed unless you KNOW exactaly what it is and how it works. And again SUPERVISE your kids while on the computer. That's your JOB
