Kids study games?
I enjoy two boys 4 and 6 yrs old would approaching to get them something that they can enjoy fun with but first and formost help them with their study. I want my 4 yr old to carry a headstart and get him prepared when he starts pre-k subsequent year. And my 6 yr old immediately in the 1st title could use some extra help. I know here is lots of stuff out there similar to these leapster, v-tech, that hook up to your tv, handheld and and and but it's not so easy to choose which one to get hold of. Does anyone own any of this learning games? What would you suggest? It should be kid resistant if you know what I anticipate cause I read that lots of these games work beside cards and such that are very assured torn and just plain simple distroyed. I want something that works and rather lasts more than purely a month or so
Answers: The v-tech is nice. the only problem is that the games singular go up to the age to 6-8. If that isn't a problem for you consequently go for it. My v-tech have held up well, 3 and 6 yr weak. The 3 yr old have trouble with the joystick, it is severely sensitive. If I did it over again, I would get the youngest the handheld. I would invest within a nintendo ds for my older daughter, she is growing out of the v-tech already. They enjoy brain games that are do able for them. One of those human being bigbrain, she can't do the math well ample yet, but the other games are logical and they are fun and excellent for her. My nieces enjoy both had ds for awhile immediately and they have held up fine, ages 31/2 and 7.
Don't forget a toy to lately play with. They inevitability that imagination exercise too.
books, blocks, puzzles, a deck of cards, and some board games that reinforce math concepts (hi-ho-cherry oh for your four year old; battleship or monopoly, etc. for your 6-year-old); a toy lolly register with play money; a research watch for recitation time (they have the category that shows the hour in one color and the minutes (like 15) contained by another), a journal for your 6-year-old ....
your kids will revise much more from these kind of out-of-date learning toys than from any electronics.
