If he doesn't go to school Mom is in trouble with law yet she can't deal with him. He sees a psychologist and a psychiatrist but still no help. Mom is white he & brother is half black which contributes to the problems because he wants to be black and hates it cause his mom and her family is white. Is there anything that can be done to help? She doesn't have a lot of money for to send him to a private school for troubled kids.

First off disconnect the TV, Video games, Internet and phone. Take away every privilege this kid has make him earn them back. Have the police escort him to school and make sure a staff member at school escorts him between classes. And might I suggest a good old fashioned spanking. If that does not work get ahold of the local scared straight program. There might be a boot camp he could be enrolled in as well. If he wants to act like a baby then treat him like one.

It's going to be tough for her .. he probably thinks the world is out to get him like most teenagers do. I do agree take away his privileges those are a right not a need. Second, reintroduce him to his mother side of the family have him sit down and talk to them. Tell him his experience like what it was like during WW!! and stuff like that. Also, get biographies and other stuff to introduce to him on the african american side. This way its introducing his heritage to him something we should be proud of. With the younger son I would say sahe needs to address the older sons "problems" with him see how he feels because this effects him too.
