public schools (private not included) are not supposed to allow religion. i.e. prayer, etc. although they do allow cross necklaces. lesbian and gay rights by that age are considered appropriate substance. it wasn't bogus, the teacher be just following school/classroom guidelines.

That does nouns bogus to me. I don't know if you are in America, but within America we are supposed to still be free. Free to draw a cross or even wear a cross around our neck or on our clothing. Here within my county the students are allowed to promote any religion they choose, they do ask the teachers not to promote a convinced religion because they feel that is to say up to the parents which religious background the child have or chooses.
Children are still allowed to pray, they will never be allowed to take that away from them. They might not be allowed to pray audibly like they do the Pledge of Allegiance, but they can sit at their desk and pray adjectives day softly to themselves. They are also allowed to bless their food before they munch through if they choose to. No one can force them to pray or force them not to pray. Also in the classrooms when they are finished taking a tryout they are given an opportunity to read quietly at their desks, if they choose to bring surrounded by a Bible to read they are allowed to read it.

It is crazy that children can be subjected to their own type of discrimination against their choice of religion while self taught that they own to accept adjectives nationalities and sexualities. Just horrible. Here contained by our school district purely last year two fifth graders be suspended from school for praying at lunch time smoothly at thier table. How does this world expect to teach children to be accepting and non-judgemental if they can no longer support the God of thier choose within public?
this is totally unfair. i cogitate its great how she shows her devotion but try to talk to the mentor maybe within is a real justification for his/her judgment.
