Average Hieght & Weight?
Answer:
That's what I hear! Mine is the same weight and height:) I just answer: "Oh! She is tall because she is going to be runway model :)))) !"
Height and weight seems proportional so there is no worries! I think she is healthy and I bet she is a beauty!
Babies grow differently and at their own rate, it depends on birth weight and heredity and so on. If your concerned ask your pediatrician at her next appointment.
Yes, she is a little bigger than average. I also have a 4 1/2 month old and she is 18 lbs. and 26 inches long. As long as your pediatrician isn't worried, you shouldn't be!! Just be happy that your baby is big and healthy! that's what I do!
she'll "grow into herself" eventually, my son (he's 6 now) weighed either 23 or 26 lbs at that age, lets just put it this way, at 10 months, he wore a size 5 diaper
your baby seems to be average size to me .
If American then 300lb is normal. don't give her big mac's
at his 4 month check up my boy was 18 lbs8oz and 27in, Dr said he's growing perfectly.
There is no average for a child size & weight. However the majority of them are less than that, & that's what people notice. My son was 18 lbs at a month & a half. He's now 23 lbs & 29" long at 5 1/2 months.
Don't fret, some babies grow faster then others.
there really is no avg. height or weight for a baby somtimes when you dont breastfeed and the baby drinks formula they tend to be bigger at 5 mo my son was about16lbs
Kids are getting bigger and bigger with each passing generation. Yes, she is big but my kids are too. My son, 5.5 months is 27 inches and 21 pounds. My daughter, 19 months, is 33 lbs...not sure on the height. Take a look at you and your baby's father, i'd bet that one or both of you are not skinny minnies. Keep in mind that you don't want your child to be skinny. Chubby babies are healthy babies, provided they eay right and get to move around. I wouldn't worry too much about weight at this age anyways, believe me, once they start crawling and walking, it will all even out.
Good Luck
She is a little bigger for her age. I have big babies too and then they slim out a whole lot when they start walking. My son was born premature and was 18 lbs at 4 months and he got no solids or anything other than breastmilk. He was around 22 lbs at a year and is still slim. I think it just depends on the baby.
