How old are babies when they don't need to be burped anymore?

well it really depends on the baby. i have 4 girls.and i breastfed so i really didnt need to burp much. most often you can stop burping when they can move around...hold there own bottle..about 6 mos.my nephew had reflux and had to be burped till he was 1! so it does differ from baby to baby. when you notice a few burps on there own.your good!
When they can roll and sit up more
When they can burp on their own.
I would say 2. That only bec. ,my boy is so gassy, I just rub his back and he burps.
Suggestion . . . don't focus on the baby's age for this . . . focus more on that particular individual baby and if they still need to be burped or not.
