What style is your baby girl's nursery? What main color? Why did you choose it?

My husband & I disagree on what is most popular for a girl these days.please let us know what you chose & why!

Answer:
We went with a classic look and I love it! It's lasted for all 3 girls and will hopefully carry on for more babies :0) We splurged and bought beautiful furniture from Pottery Barn Kids in a dark mahogany color and have a stuffed rocker in a sage green color. The walls are a cream color with a thick pink stripe along the top, with thinner brown stripes above and below the pink one, near the ceiling. We've got a variety of sheets but my favorites are the pink toille ones that we got a few years ago. They're gorgeous!
my husband and I agreed on doing like an apple green for the wall, with green pink and white accessories!! (mostly pink) I love it!
Her crib is a walnut and her bedding is pink toile. I just love pink for girls! I went with red checkered and butterflies for our first girl which worked out pretty good because we had our son 15 months later! So, we just switched out the butterflies for cars and it worked for both. This time around I wanted pink, pink, and more pink. Her car seat and stroller are gray and pink. I chose the pink toile for the nursery because I love the print!
We went with purple as the main color. It is my favorite color (I hate pink) and since the idea was for me to spend a lot of time in there nursing and doing all the baby stuff in there, I wanted to like the room. We also didn't do a baby-ish decor. We had our bedding made with a fabric that had a Celtic knot design all over it. I wanted stuff she could grow into so that we wouldn't be re-doing her room for her "big girl room."

As it is, we hardly spend any time in there, but DD loves her room anyway.

I would make the room something you won't mind spending a lot of time in. If you enjoy looking at Winnie the Pooh all over the walls, then do that. If not, don't. ;)
WEll.my baby is 21 now...but when she was about to be born her room had a bright red and yellow berber carpet and bright yellow walls and yellow curtains. Everything in the room was Winnie the Pooh. Erin loved it. My other daughter who is 20 now had in her room yellow ducks and the rug and walls were mint green and she had some apricot to accent.
i bought disney princess..themed bedding for her crib ...i had to buy it online walmart cause at my local walmart they didnt have it
winnie da pooh and i chooose it cuz its cute
we really liked baby snoopy alot and not many people were choosing it. We didn't want to get something that everyone was doing. We like the uniqueness. So we got as much baby snoopy items as we could afford and painted the walls a teal green (there is teal green in all of the snoopy themed items). We wanted a kind of gender neutral theme for when we have a second child. (in case its a boy)
