Answers: ADD andh ADHD are hereditary. My husband have ADD and my daughter has ADHD. My neice (in-law) have also been diagnosed beside ADHD. The chance of it one passed on is about 50%.

As I found out when I recently found my son who is presently 31, ADHD is likely adjectives. I don't have it, but my Mom and two brothers would adjectives be diagnosed with that today (the other brother and 2 sisters would not). So, I would say aloud the chances are lofty that your child would have any of these or both. However, it depends on the cause. I'm told frequent children of drug addicts hold ADHD, and I would guess their children likely would not. If it's possible any of your mothers was taking a drug that increased this possibility, later your child's chances are probably similar to my situation.

Yes it is GENETIC! SORRY to tell you this but your child will probably enjoy adhd... My daughter has it and my son is just 7 months so who knows however... Since you have have it you know how to react better, which money you can treat your child with more respect... Just remember the stuff that did and did not work for you...
Chances are since both of you enjoy it and would be carrying the gene that causes ADD/ADHD, that at least possible one of your children would be born with it. Just the method the old ethnic group tree works. It doesnt just go past on all the dutiful stuff it passes on the impossible stuff as well. Those are the probability we take when we procreate.
