What is the youngest age recorded that an infant was walking?

Im curious as to the youngest age a baby can walk
i cant find any info about it on the web.
Do you know?
If so, where did you find the answer??
thanks

Answer:
The earliest I have seen really walking (able to walk several steps unassisted) is 7 months. I think most moms of super-early walkers woud have babies at least 7 months before they would be able to walk across a room. I have 3 kids...the oldest girl walked several steps at 8.5 months, the middle girl at 7.5 months, the youngest boy at 11 months (I swore he would never walk...lol...after my early girls!)

Oh - and never push a baby to learn to walk. My girls were never pushed or taught...but DH and I were both early walkers so they come by in naturally. Children that are taught/pushed into learning to walk before they are naturally pulling up and able to push toys around...usually end up with problems. It isn't worth it just to say your baby was a young walker...by they time they are 1 1/2 you would never know which babies were early walkers and which ones weren't so it really makes no difference - let them develop on their pace.
My son could walk at 11 months old

but early walkers can have problems with their posture later in life
My cousin's kid was 9 months.
I don't know about records, but I know my dad walked at 7 months old and my brother at 8 months. I would be interested to know myself.
my three sisters and mom are already teaching my son to walk. he can stand and walk about one step but then falls. he is seven months old.
my daughter walked at 9 months
Our daughter walked around furniture at 6 months and at 9 months she started running without holding on to anything. It's funny to see the pictures of her running down the middle of a campground street, she was so tiny.
5 months
My son was cruising around furniture at 5 months and by 7 he was walking all over and by 9 he was running all around. I have never seen any info on how early they can walk but I heard that "normal" is anywhere from 7 to 16 m onths. My daughter apparently will not be walking early as she is 8 months and is just getting crawling down. And she weighs a ton more than my son did at this age!
I don't know but my first son walked at 7 months and our 6 month old is pulling himself up and trying to start walking
