Do you shave your bikini area before you have a baby?
Answer:
I never did that when I was pregnant. It's really up to you though. It's a personal preference. It won't matter one way or the other. It will be the last thing on your mind when you're giving birth.
I never did. never heard of it back then. and as a nurse I can tell you----that's the last thing we're thinking about. doesn't matter.
NO, THEY DO THAT AT THE HOSPITAL FOR YOU. THEY'RE USED TO DOING THAT.
it dose matter
Have you TRIED shaving your bikini area when you are 9 month pregant? Yeah... they'll do it at the hospital for you.
You can, but be forewarned. After shaving, I usually itch a few days later and you will be so sore that you can't itch. If you have an episiotemy, you really can't itch. Don't be scared or vain. If it helps, most women poop on the table so don't worry about a little hair.
Well i have always shaved mine, its just the way my hubby likes it. ;) so thats the way i keep it.
if you can see it to do it go ahead i couldnt see it too much belly. they shaved me before surgery. during labor it wasnt needed
huh, ... um, yes? I don't even know why I'm answerin' this one!
I don't think that you have to shave at all, but I could be wrong. I've always completely shaved anyway (a Telly Savalis, I've heard it called!) But I had an episiotomy with my first child, and they may have shaved for that if I wasn't already "bald." I know that shave you somewhat for a c-section.
If you plan to shave yourself, I recommend using an Intuition razor for sensitive skin. I'm perfectly smooth, no razor burn and have never cut myself. (Your husband will love it if you do!)
YTou don't have to but if you are going to have an epiesiotomy(SP?) then you might consider it before you give birth
Its not needed, it was common practise a generation or two ago. It may be required for a c/section, but they will do that in hospital for you. Good luck
iv had three and i didn't really do any thing for my last two for my first i just did my bikini line but its so hard to do it when your that far gone as you cant see . i got my hubby to help me out .
the doctor actually suggested for me to stop shaving around the due date, due to the fact that if you do cut yourself there is always the chance for infection.
Do you normally shave there or do you think you need to for the baby. I asked my ob if it had to be done because that was what they did to my mother when I was born. Well, 36 years is a long time and things change. The doc told me that the risk of infection is higher from a possible injury from hair removal that from anything that would be in the hair. I did not shave nor was it done in the hospital.
How can you shave what you cant see?
U may want to cause if you got something special going on down there....they just screw that all up for ya! Trust me!
