3 week mature kid....HELP!?
Answers: sounds similar to your baby is lactose intolerant. we have the exact same problem with our little one. started out on flawless start then the doctor switched us to lactose free formula. we asked something like soy but he said that can actually impose more gas. ask your doctor about enfamil lactofree, its worked wonders for us.
as for the bottles - we use avent essentially. the nipples are shaped to dissalow air from person sucked in the sides and you can modification them out as your baby grows. you start out near the one month nipples and graduate month to month. we've tried just around all of them and avent works best for us!
wow I enjoy a 7 month old so I have a feeling for you! try a differnt formula all together! If that doesnt work my fussy one loves the motor ride trick!
POOR THING! I feel your spasm...try allmentum. I don't know if I spelled that right but it's really expensive I know several moms that had to administer their babies that due to COLIC! and your baby probly have colic by the sounds of it. Try the pricey forfulas for atleast 5 days before you try another . sometimes it take a while for the changes to see in...GOOD LUCK SWEETY AND GET SOME REST!
in attendance are different things you can try too do here... i think the best bottles too use to give a hand prevent gas is Playtex Advance! they work really good... in a minute there is also another entry that works wonderful .. its called GRIP WATER!! it help with gas outstandingly well, my 14 month ripened still gets bleak gas sometimes and i give him some and it help him feel better.... this grip hose is also a colic relief.... you can achieve it for about 4$ at your local drug store! GOOD LUCK ! dont endow with up it will get better :)
You don't want the nipples to be too slow - otherwise, he will afterwards just be sucking nouns which will only build him gassier. Our youngest daughter did the same and we found out she have reflux - the formula was burning the pool liner of her esophagus. I would contact the doctor again and push the issue. If it's reflux, it's not going to matter what kindly of formula it is, his little digestive system just isn't developed ample. Push the doctor to test!!
if your kid is really fussy when you start to feed him this could also be a problem try to sooth him since you start feeding him so that you can avoid the risk of him swallowing so much extra nouns while he's screaming. that could cut out some of the gas issues. i know it's really hard i have to do the same piece with my son but walking near him and singing to him just a couple mins in the past feeding time really help to calm him and acquire him ready to put away
He sounds like he have reflux. Switching formula won't help next to this. Ask your Dr. if it could be reflux, if your Dr. dismisses this idea, carry a second opinion. There are different technique to feeding and kind for a baby near reflux, your Dr. will tell you what to do to give a hand his symptoms. Most babies outgrow reflux, but it takes a few months. Good luck.
within is a formula from similac advance to be precise soy and is supposed to help next to this very article.....it says "for fussy babies" or for gassy babies, something approaching that. but also if it's colic....my doc told me to swaddle my baby surrounded by a blanket really snug and kinda swing her back and forth surrounded by my arms in a gloomy room. and this helped....i know the crying sometimes is unbareable! i use ventaire and i love them. mylicon gas drops help my baby also next to her tummy....i hated it! she be in so much discomfort with it too. also your newborn may be lactose intolerant, so milk base formula's may be worse for him.
two words Dr. Browns they form these funny looking bottles with a tube piece inside and they work clearly on not allowing any gas to get into babe! there for a while on the expensive side but really do work!
Nutramigin is a GREAT formula for gas, colic, reflux, etc. My son was extremely colicky....a nurse friend of mine suggested taking him to a chiropractor. I know it sounds extreme, but it WORKED!! All he did be massage his belly to work out the "kinks" and used a mild pressure tool on his lower backbone. After a few visits, I notice a dramatic difference. I would highly recommend at tiniest trying it to anyone with a similar problem!
