Rinsing cloth diapers in kitchen sink okay?
Answer:
I wouldn't do that and I use cloth diapers. I plop the poo out into the toilet, then throw them all into a dry pail until washing day. Other people use this http://www.wildflowerdiapers.com/catalog... to rinse their diapers out.
yes.
sorry should never mix, food n bodies, unhealthy
As long as you rinse/wash the sink out afterwords I am sure it's fine.
very bad...in my days they rinsed them out in the toilet..yes that is where poop should go.NOT IN THE SINK>>>>NOT IN THE BATH TUB..but in the toilet
I personally would not do it. The bathroom sink or even tub would be more sanitary. Everybody pees in the shower, don't they. LMAO.
The only way I would use kitchen sink is to Bleach afterwards.
Good Luck with the Baby.
At Least I hope it's a Baby. LOL Again
yes this is unsanitary. no offense but do you eat out of a toilet.
Hey if your considerate enough to buy cloth nappies and rinse them etc in the first place, instead of adding to the humongous pile of throw away ones that are buried in land fill sites the world over, in my book you can wash them where ever you like. Good for you.
Yes, it is. The kitchen and sink is where you deal with food a lot. Unseen critters might be able to get on your food and may cause food poisoning or something like that. Anyway, to be on the safe side, don't do that. Find you a bucket and do it in the bathroom or outside, depending on how your home is.
It's not something I would personally do, as I have a laundry tub, but if you use bleach to wipe out the sink or soak it before washing up dishes then there is no reason why the sink would not be sanitarily clean
Personally, i would not mix my baby's cloth diapers with food. Surely it is unhygienic, come to think of it; a soiled or a dirty diaper being found on a kitchen sink together with plates or pots. What can you think about???
yes it is. unless you bleach your sink everytime... and your counters and everywhere it drips... i would suggest in the tiolet... What I did is I risned the poop off in the tiolet.. then I soaked the diapers in a pail of water... then I would wash them when the pail was full
Personally, I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't tell anyone thats what I do if I did do it..Its better to rinse them out in the toilet. I can see why you might prefer the kitchen sink as its easier than bending over a toilet but why don't you try using the laundry tub/sink if you have one. Just make sure you bleach out the sink afterwards and wipe the counters down..using a cleaning cloth of course and not your dish rag.
if it's dirty no maybe if it's new i dont know i aint no baby sitter
