Its great that you have such great dreamsfor you baby. just dont put too much preasure on her. she is a baby. as far as asl (american sign language goes) the do sell books on how to teach it to your baby. Im not sure that I would recomend it though. we taught our daughter it but i think it may be holding her back from talking, because she has an alternitive way to communicate.
BTW: I also found the girls cant be genius answer offensive :-)

unfortunately, babies just stop having the instinct to pee when the nappy comes off and the air hits them... but otherwise, i am sure sticking your tongue out is a sure sign of genius. if george w can be pres, then i am sure your baby will be an astronaut at a very early age. as for sign language and spanish, sounds like it will come naturally to your genius girl.

Everyone thinks their child is a genius.
I know of a couple who have taught their young children Spanish. One parent talks to them in English and the other talks to them in Spanish. Their 3 year old speaks both very well and knows the difference between the 2 languages.
You don't want your child to be a genius.
These kids have so many problems in life...better they just be a kid and improve at normal rate.
