Our 6 week old baby girl has been having nasal congestion that sounds like snoring, this just started Sunday?
I found this link which gives me the impression that this is what our baby is having;

Answer:
get a humidifier or vaporizer and use saline drops...that should clear out baby's nose
My son had the same thing. My pediatricians told me to get a dropper and some saline solution and drip a drop in the nose. Wait until she sniffs it up then get out your booger sucker!
Their noses are very tiny - They're only trying to inhale and exhale. You can use nasal drops to help her breathe better.
All my kids went through this. It is totally normal.
If she were running a fever acting sick, then I'd call the dr.
Just keep the humidity up in her room with a vaporizer and use some baby vick's salve. That will help her breathe better. I didn't use saline, but have been told that it would help also.
Best to you!
my son had it for a week! i've never taken so much snot out of his nose! My son had the fever as well, so he was on medication. I say constant watch for the boogers and some patience will do the trick.
They all go through it. The saline drops help. however I had trouble droping them. I got a brand called little noses. then hold the baby upright and place the tip in the nose and squeeze the bottle and it mists. Vicks is great too. and don't worry somehow they always get enough air.
In children snoring may be due to tonsils or adenoids.Get the child checked with a doctor. More remedies

I have a 8 week old, she was doing the same thing when she came home from the hospital. It comes from dry heat. You need to buy a humidifier to moist the air she is breathing. You can also use the blue nasal tube thing, they gave you at the hospital, to suction out the nose. Also go the nearest store and buy saline drops. Saline drops will help, they have saline drops for infants. After using this, she will stop making that snoring noise. It will be easier for her to breath. Differently go to the store now and buy saline drops. This will help her breathe better. I know because I have 4 kids.
