When will my 4 month old cut his teeth?

Hes been teething for weeks now. Drooling and shoving everything in his mouth.

Answer:
my six month old has his two bottom teeth he actually cut them at da end of his fifth mo. but like they say every baby is different and can teethe for quite a long time or may take a short time to teethe b4 their teeth start to cut. They will just be there one day when u least suspect.
when he learns to use a knife..the wrong way
Each baby is different. My son cut his about 9 months , my daughter was 5 weeks when her first one appeared.
I was thinking the same thing about my daughter. She is almost 6 months, and her teeth haven't come yet either. I think it is just different for all babies. There is no set time.
At four months my son started by seven months he had six teeth.
it all depends on when he is ready but it sounds like he'll have that tooth in a few days.gl
It varys from person to person, same thing like walking some learn it quicker than others. but if he turns 2 and still hasn't had any teeth then you might want to get him checked out.

Things are different for everyone, Im 25 and still have 2 baby teeth, (thanks alot Air Force dentist, now Im self concious, I wonder if I can disability for trama from that. hehehhehe) anyway dont worry he will be fine.
Most babies cut their first teeth around 6 months. Every child is different. I had a niece who didn't get her first tooth until she was 9 months old. Both of my kids got theirs around 6 months, but they started the drooling around 4 months.
My MIL kept saying "Two more weeks". Well my son was a drooly teething mess from just before 4 months until 6.5 months when 4 teeth cut in one week *lol* So it is hard to tell.
My son who is now 12 month cut his teeth at 6 months my neice who is also 12 months (ten days older) didn't get any til 10 months. She drolled and seemd to be cutting them since about 4 months as well, but nonthing til 10 months
average age is around 6 months old , but keep checking or you might miss it , he may be an early developer ,

good luck on finding that toothy peg xx
unfortunately there's no true way to tell exactly when your baby is going to cut his teeth. there are plenty of signs for teething, but not cutting teeth. i'm a preschool teacher. i work with 1-2 year olds. i have a 14 month old boy in my class that still only has 2 teeth. amazingly this has not hindered him in other areas of development. he still eats regular school lunch including: chicken, rice, fruit, dinner roll, pizza, cheese sticks, veggies, hamburgers. it will all come in time. just be patient and remember that it's not much fun for him. good luck.

i'm also a mother of two and pregnant with my 3rd. my youngest started teething at 3.5 months but didn't cut until about 5 months. she got 4 at one time. lol.
Most typical age is anywhere between 3 and6 months. No worries if it doesnt happen by then.. if by 12 months nothing.. take baby to a pediodontist.
