Is it true or a myth? (Solids)?
Honestly it didn't make my daughter sleep any longer she still wakes up 1 or 2 times a night for a bottle.

My doctor said it's how many calories they get during the day that matters, not just when. We started with lunch first, then added breakfast, and last dinner to our routine. I learned not to try new things first at dinner time, since if it doesn't agree with him he will have a hard time going to sleep comfortably because of stomach upset.
You might want to consider small amounts of cereal or oatmeal at breakfast/lunch/dinner if she can handle dinner ok right now. If she eats more during the day overall, it should contribute to her sleeping better at night.
From what I've seen it depends on the kid. It never worked on mine, but my best friend swears her son started sleeping through the night once she started cereal at bedtime.
It works for some babies and not others, for my son is worked some nights, depending on how much he ate throughout the day, the more full he was when he went to sleep. So it is more of a myth than a fact, however it is recommened you not put cereal in a bottle due to choking hazard, but I did and my kid was fine, but you may want to try just giving baby some cereal before bottle before bed if she is ready and see how it works.

Solids shouldn't be started prior to about 6 mos of age.
It didn't work for mine, but I've heard it works for some kids. It just depends on how lucky you are I guess!
If the baby is old enough for solids - it is fine to try it...but in my experience it never helped with any of my 3 kids.
It might not be true for every one. When I started feeding my kids solids, they both slept better. It may take more then a few nights though because your baby is so used to waking up to feed.

There's a lot of debate on this topic...but the bottom line is this...IT totally depends on why your baby is waking up...
If she's waking up because of HUNGER...then yes of course feeding her a heavier meal will keep her satisfied longer.
But If she's waking up because she has an immature sleep cycle (which is common with babies) ...it doesn't matter what she eats ..she'll still wake up.
SO NO, Its not a "Myth" ...but it does only work if the sleep problem involves "hunger".
i think it just depends on the baby, i give it to my daughter and it keeps her belly full. But she could also be waking up for other reasons, notjust because shes hungry.
Give her a bath before bed, and put a box fan in there, and it blocks out all other noise
