Do baby's eat less when you add rice cereal to formula.?
Answer:
Please don't put cereal in your babies bottle. Yes they would eat less because the cereal takes longer to digest.
they will eat less often cuz the rice cereal helps to fill them up
The cereal fills them up and they don't eat as much.
yes they do eat less when cereal is added. it makes them feel full more than just a bottle of formula
yes it will fill them up...my son s 16 months old and he still gets rice or oatmeal in his bottles...it will fill he up and he will eat a littles less and few between...like say he gets a bottles at 10 am and he would usually eat again at 12 now he might hold off till like 1...he jus fills hes little tummy up..and plus its added vitamins so what u r doin is good...
Yes it does its a little thicker than just the formula so it sticks with him
In my experience, yes. My baby started on Enfamil AR, which is thickened with rice starch. But when we had to take her off of that for other reasons, we had to start adding rice to each bottle to lessen the spitting up. Her intake dropped quite a bit.
I started putting a little cereal in my sons bottle only at night. He kept waking himself with grunting, and rumbling belly. Since I started he is quiet and comfy at night and not rolling all over the place. He only eats less at night since I started but the rest of the day is the same.
