What should you do for an infant beside the stomach flu?

My 8 month old have been throwing up for 18 hours, what should I nurture him? He is breatfeed & has babyfood in general.

Answers:    Water or pedialite only, an ounce or so every 15 minutes, until he keep that down. If he keeps throwing up approaching this, or shows signs of dehydration (sunken soft spot, no tears/eyes look very dry, inside of cheek is dry) thieve him in ASAP. He will be okay next to no food for a day or so - cranky, but ok. Everytime you nurture him breastmilk or food, you aggrivate his tummy more. He needs solely fluids until he can keep those down for several hours.
pedilyte until stomach flu subsides
1st contact your pediatrician doctor, second dispense small amounts of a cleat liquid a moment or two at a time, to much will cause your babe to throw it up: examples are clear broth, ginger ale, pedilyte and maybe some saltine crackers. Popsicles are also great.
if he have been throwing up for that long you should name your doctor. There is a danger of dehydration. You should nurse him and not verbs about toddler food until you talk to your doctor. Don't skulk.
I would give him pedialyte for hydration, so that he wont become desiccated, The flu will have to run its course until that time he is able to hold milk or anything else on his tummy. Most of adjectives give lots of hugs and kisses!! Good Luck
