it totally depends on which two genes your baby gets,,,,, brown is dominate, so you could have a hazel and hazel, or a or hazel and blue,,,,,,if you are hazel eyed, you dont have two brown,, you dont have any brown,,,, , the same with your fiancee,,,,,, he might have brown /brown, brown/green or brown/blue,,,if you each passed a blue eye gene to your child, it will be blue,,,,,,,, but the eyes dont change this soon, i would give it a couple of months
ps : i assume by hazel you mean green, i am green eyed, my husband was brown,,,,, my daughter is blue eyed,,,,,, my husbands mother was blue eyed, so he carried the gene for it,,,, and so did i
they can change anytime- but after 6 months the color is permanent

Usually around the 6th month mark you get a good indication as what the eye color will be. Some don't change until around the first birthday. Hazel eyes are not that uncommon among Hispanics.
I'm not entirely sure, but my baby is half asian, he was born with blue eyes, they have now changed to brown but i didn't notice when, somewhere around the 4 week mark.
Babies eyes can change color several times but they are usually the color they are going to stay by the time they are a year old.

our pediatrician said it can take up to a full year for the eyes to change to their final color, sometimes 18 months. my husband and i both have very dark brown eyes, he's got black curly hair and mine is medium brown. we figured on a dark eyed dark haired baby, but she's nine months old, blond blond and still has those odd greyish blue newborn eyes. my sister and i were both pretty fair haired as babies & our hair has definately darkened since then, and she has hazel eyes. my dad is the only person on both my or my husband's side with blue eyes, so it's probable that our babies will end up with brown or hazel eyes...

My kids eyes never changed, and they were blue, but everyone in our family has blue eyes. But you never know - if someone in your family blood-line had blue eyes once and it was the dominant trait passed on, then the baby may keep blue eyes. Who knows. All it takes is one person.

Most likely your baby's eyes will be brown, the doctors say by 6 months old they usually have there eye color in. My daughter had the most beautiful green eyes at 6 months old, at 6 months and 2 weeks they were dark brown, lol.
