For nursing moms have any of you devolped allergies to certain foods after delivery?

If you did; did it eventually go away? I used to love chocolate but now i can't seem to handle even the tinest doses. any advice on to help so i don't have to give up chocolate.

Answer:
hmm, i never got any allergies.
how old is your child? could it be your body reacting to the end of your pregnancy and causing the allergy? i have heard of that happening... if that is what is going on, it should go away.
if it is a new allergy then im unsure if you will be able to eat chocolate again.

sorry im not much help. i just wanted to let you know my 2 cents.

no allergies here and we are still (STILL, ugh!) nursing at 13 months!
Not after giving birth, but I found that during my first pregnancy, I started having more of a reaction to dairy. Before that I could get away with eating dairy products in moderation, but during the pregnancy, I couldn't handle as much. The reaction slacked off a little bit after I had my son, but it was still worse than original. This pregnancy, I can't touch more than a few drops of milk or even eat a BITE of ice cream and I feel indegestion and feel like I'm going to vomit. Pregnancy hormones do wierd things. Ask your doctor about whether or not it's normal!
