When should babies start having cereal mixed with their milk? and at what age?

Depends on the baby,anywhere from 1 month -4 months,rice cereal for first feedings and usually just once a day at first.
I would mix the baby rice cereal in with her formula at like 4 months. The first time i did that she slept 9 hours! I put 2 spoonfulls for 4 ounces of formula. Make sure you get those special nipples that have the bigger opening for it to get through. I get the gerber rice cereal banana kind, she loves it. When my lil one was born she ate about 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours for like a month, then went to 4 ounces every 2-3 hours for like another month... then was at 5 ounces still every 3 hours or so... then so on and so forth. She is 8 months now and eats 9 ounces every 4-5 hours, and i feed her a jar or two or baby food each day.
I think you can do that soon as they get some teeth grown out to be able to chew.
4 months is good rice baby cereal.i add a little Gerber baby food banana for flavor she loves it.she gets 1 teaspoon a day for now.next week ill try her on her cereal 2 times a day then the following week 3 times a day.always remember if you add fruit.stick with one for a while so you will know if she gets a allergic reaction you know what did it. her some info on vaccines for you to read.http://www.thinktwice.com/stories.htm...

around 3-4 months old. my opion rice cereal to start off, then when a lil older try the bananas and apple cereal.
now the oz. and how often, ur baby will let you know that. u can't rely on what all the docs/nurses say. look at it this way, u don't always drink/eat the same exact amount of food/water each time, do you. it's according to how ever hungry/thrusty u r. a baby works the same way. he/she may only want 4oz the 1st feeding and then the next feeding he/she may want 7oz.
