Does anyone else's baby cry when you burp them?

I have a 2 1/2 month old boy and when its time to burp him he cries... any suggestions on what I can do to help him from crying...Maybe a pacifier? Or Not?...Thanks.

My baby used to do it for one of a few reasons. She would still be hungry and angry that I stopped to burp her. She would have some reflux and indigestion that would hurt her, or the bubble itself would be uncomfortable coming up and she'd be fine once burped out.
