about 2 or 3 weeks after having my son on september i started having bowel movements discomfort adn then there was blood streaking it adn i t stung badly, i wasnt constipated and my stools were very soft. eversince i have had either black stools or the soft formed ones. it was itchy but not so much anymore but now i have a little white spot on my anus that stings when i pee, it looks like a bubble the size of a jalepeno seed. that didnt fit in with the hemmroid thing so i just wanted to be sure. also i have had severe yeast infections in the past so i know a sting when i feel one, also i had the baby c section and i thought you got hemmroids from having to push a baby out. i did push for 3 hours but i didnt get anywhere. please give advice. i already am going to call the dr but i wanted to know more before i do.
Answer:
You can get hemorrhoids if you have a C-section. It is common to get hemorrhoids during pregnancy because of the increased blood flow. Your growing uterus puts pressure on the pelvic veins, and an increase in the hormone progesterone during pregnancy causes the walls of your veins to relax, allowing them to swell more easily. Since you did push, you put extra pressure on that area, too. Typical symptoms of a hemorrhoid include itching, burning, pain, and bleeding. Bleeding from a hemorrhoid is usually bright red, and more often seen on the toilet paper than in the bowl. Always get rectal bleeding checked out by a doctor, even if you suspect it is due to a hemorrhoid.
