Work for stay at home mum - Family day care or other?
Answer:
If your are the least bit artistic, you could make girls hair bows at home and sell them at craft shows in your area.
Micheals would have everything you'd need. Start small and adjust your supply from there, take orders ahead of time.
The craft idea could be a forum for any of your talents, quliting, painting crafts, decorating bottles, gift wrapping, gift baskets, etc.
A lot of these would allow you to work at home and even have your kid along at the show. Set up with a friend or fellow craft maker for some help with costs.
Good luck!
THere's not a whole lot out there to earn money and stay at home. If you are going to do family day care, I would check into the requirements to become state licensed. Tose guidelines will help you determine if you would like to do that, it's stringent guidelines to follow, if you're willing to do that, then do day care. There isn't anything else, (besides sales (pampered chef, etc)) to do from home. ANd those all cost money to start up. I've looked and looked for work from home opprotunities but none have arisen from my searcing.
Use this time to enjoy even the simplest of pleasures with your child. If cash is an issue look at priorities. Cash can come and go but these times in your little ones life will never be. If you do a day care you really aren't spending time with him you are spreading yourself too thin. Then if you are only going to do this daycare for a short period of time is that really fair to these families? They would then have to start all over and get new care providers.
