when my son owuld go to the doctor i would put his shots that he got in there, and depending on the dr. that u go to they may give u a sheet each time you go, i put places he likes, put his hospital bracelet in it, the lock of hair from his first hair cut. Etc.
All the milestones like, crawling, pulling up, smiling, rolling over, laughing, walking, talking and the dates they happened.. I've included all the weights and heights that my son was at different ages that I got from doctor's visits. Any big events like vacations, baptism, first haircut. That is all that I can think of off the top of my head.
Some people put in the hospital bands that mommy,daddy and baby were wearing. The umbilical stump that fell off (Yes I have both of my childrens) A lock of hair from the first time it was cut. The decorative birth certificate with the foot prints from the hospital. And don't forget plenty of pictures!! Pretty much anything you think you are going to want to look back on as your child grows up.

I am making one for my baby and I started from my first ultrasound pictures and then I put my pregnancy pictures and like her pics from the day she was born and her and my i d braclet oh and I also put her first little outfit and her first pair of jordans in there. Basically you should put a lot of pictures becasue they change so much in such little time. I try to carry a camara with me so that i can take pics all the time. Hope you like some of my ideas
anything and everything that you want to remember about your baby. anything from sonogram pictures to first haircut. I kept just about everything. My daughter is 7 years old and I still save things from her school. That way when she is older she can look back at all the things that really ment something to me. Its something I wish my mother would of done for me.
You put in when he or she started to walk, crawl, talk, sing, dance, eat table foods etc.
