Landon is a fine name, but I'd say Matthew Landon is probably better. That's just my opinion, and I'm a dude sitting in front of his computer at midnight on a Saturday, so what do I know?

Well im 16 and my mom just had a baby 7 months ago. It was difficult to name the baby we didnt know what she was having so we picked out two names. What we did to pick them was my mom and step dad didnt want the name to have a nick name so when they would think of a name they would tell me and i would try to make up a nickname. My mom also wanted the name to be unique and different. So we named my little brother Karter. and his middle name is James. we spelt it with a K so that he wouldnt get the nick name CJ. picking a name can be hard i mean the child has to live with it his whole life. Also you have to think is he going to get teased for his name? I think Landon Matthew is a wonderful name i dont know one Landon Matthew not even a Landon plus you cant get any nick names out of the name that could cause you child to get teased about. I really like it! I hope i helped and i hope all goes well in the delivery room.

forget what other people say--it's your baby! my son's name will be Blaze when i have kids...dont think anyone will like it, but as long as i do, and it doesn't scar them for life have fun!

We didnt think that anyone would like Elsie when we had her, so we made a point of telling everyones all of our name choices except Elsie. So, when she was born its not like anyone was going to say anything. That was just us =)
Oh, and we call our second daughter Krinny and shes learned to love it just as Elsie loves her name. Unique names can be really special, a name like Katie or Dan can make it so the child doesnt feel as unique. But, its totally up to you. You and everyone will love your baby no matter what!
Oh, and I have a neice named Quinca, Quinny for short. She's adorable, and once you say the name, it sticks. You cant see them as anything else.

Name your baby exactly what you want - who cares what other people think. You carried this baby for nine months and will raise him for the next 18 years, so you deserve whatever name you want to name him. I named my son Dexter Romeo and I get a lot of weird looks and comments sometimes, but that is what I wanted and it is what makes me happy. To me that is what matters most :)
