3 month old baby flu?

I have a 3 month old baby girl. She is breastfed only and about 17 lbs. I think my husband has come down with the flu. What should I do if I get it or my 5 year old gets it. We are the ones always around the baby. What will I be able to take if anything that wont affect my baby. I know what to do if she gets it but I dont know what to do if I get it.

Answer:
Stay clear of your husband until he is feeling better. Should you feel sick yourself, call your pediatrician and explain your situation. He or she will be able to tell you if it is safe to breast feed or to take any medications. DO NOT take meds and then breastfeed the baby without consulting a doctor first.
DOCTOR.
If your baby has the flu that is serious and she should see the doctor. Baby's are small and when they get the flu then they dehydrate fast. Thousands of babies die every year in the US from the flu. Get her check out by a doctor and ask the doctor what you should do to keep it from spreading.
