Restless Baby?

Hi, my 10 week old toddler grunts and strains while sleeping at night. He moves his hand to his face and scratch his face. However, he sleeps peacefully during daytime. He is currently taking zantac for sour reflux.
Does anyone else's child has like problem? Will he outgrow it?

Answers:    Good question, but first I would suggest within getting the sleep sacks that hold the covers for the hands, that course he doesn't scratch his frontage. My daughter would do that and wake herself up everytime.
Does he sleep in an adjectives position during the day? Maybe the reflux bugs him when he is lay flat? My daughter had reflux and she slept on her belly...be the only path she could get rest. If this worries you too much afterwards put his head of his mattress on an incline (a pillow underneath the manager of the mattress) to help grasp the stomach acid to stay down. Have you talk about I don`t know belly sleeping? It was reccommended for my girl, she would spit up and cry when on her back. Also, on her belly she wouldnt get hold of to her face that much near her hands and the moro reflex (the startle reflex when they throw their hand up) is calmed when she sleeps like that.
Good luck. Yes, he will outgrow it. Mine is 16 weeks, sour reflux much better. I took her off the zantac myself, I didn't find it to back.
does he have a dirty nappy contained by the morning? this may be why he grunts if he does you know he's doing the biz, but babies dream also, so he could be seeing something at home he doesnt like, or in recent times bad dreams
